The App is designed to prioritize your privacy. We collect and use information primarily to enable the core functionalities of the App, specifically for connecting to and monitoring hardware sensors via Bluetooth.

Permissions Requested by the App:

• Bluetooth (Scan & Connect): Required to scan for, connect to, and communicate with nearby Interlink Electronics sensors. We do not use Bluetooth to track your location.
• Foreground Services: In android, Used to maintain an active connection with your sensor devices and process data in the background, ensuring you receive real-time updates and alerts even when the app is not actively open on your screen.
• Notifications: We use local notifications to alert you about sensor statuses (e.g., CO Alerts) and background service activities. These notifications are generated locally on your device.
• Wake Lock & Vibrate: Used to wake up the screen or vibrate the device to ensure you are alerted to critical sensor readings.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information and permissions we request are used solely for the following purposes:

• To establish and maintain a secure Bluetooth connection with your sensor devices.
• To read, process, and display sensor data (such as PPM levels) within the App.
• To trigger local alerts and notifications based on sensor readings and thresholds.
• To allow you to export and share your sensor logs locally via the App's file provider.

We do not transmit your sensor data, location, or personal information to external servers. All data processing and log storage occur locally on your device.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or sensor data to outside parties. All sensor logs generated by the App are stored locally on your device, and you have full control over sharing these files using the standard Android sharing mechanisms.

4. Data Retention

Sensor logs and application settings are retained locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
